Project Chair Cindy Hansen conducted a hands-on workshop with a small group of members to create patriotic-themed flower arrangements. Following the workshop, members delivered the arrangements to veterans who reside in local care facilities to express our appreciation for their service.

Due to COVID-19, Crofton Village Garden Club was unable to create patriotic-themed flower arrangements for the veterans who reside at the Loch Raven VA Community Living and Rehabilitation Center in Baltimore. As a way to still honor our veterans, CVGC is sponsoring a flag in the Flags for Heroes event sponsored by Crofton Kiwanis and the Arundel Volunteer Fire Department. Flags will be displayed around Lake Louise on Route 3 from November 7-21, 2020.

Project Chair Bonnie Pavlak and member Harriet Kiilehua conducted a hands-on workshop where members created more than 100 patriotic-themed flower arrangements for the veterans who reside at the Loch Raven VA Community Living and Rehabilitation Center in Baltimore. Immediately following the workshop, several members traveled to the Center to deliver the arrangements and personally thank our heroes.

Crofton Village Garden Club members along with members from Four Rivers Garden Club create patriotic floral arrangements for the Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Celebration sponsored by Hospice of the Chesapeake. The event takes place on Friday, March 29th at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport Hotel.
