CHILDREN'S MEMORIAL GARDEN

Crofton Village Garden Club members Carol Morris and Paulette Heward attended the Children's Memorial Garden Dedication and Children's Remembrance Ceremony this past Saturday at Hospice of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, Maryland. Carol said the Remembrance Ceremony was so moving. Each child's name was remembered and families stood as their little ones name was called. After the ceremony the ribbon at the garden entrance was untied and they entered the beautiful garden. Colorful metal flowers have been added and frames for swings were in place, interspersed throughout the plantings. Carol said it was a spiritual, peaceful feeling being there and knowing they had all been part of this wonderful endeavor.
