 At our June meeting, Sally Moore was presented with an unusually wrapped gift as a token of appreciation for graciously opening her home and gardens for our Living the Life in the Country potluck luncheon. Remember that lovely day last month? The delicious food, the garden tour that had us all admiring Sally’s green thumb—and then the moment she was handed a pink-wrapped mystery that, truth be told, looked very much like a shovel! The gift, presented by Trish Lilek Demers, sparked quiet curiosity, but the final reveal came a few days later: inside was indeed a garden shovel, custom-engraved with the perfect message––CVGC Digs Sally Moore.
