Each year, the Crofton Village Garden Club collaborates with other District II garden clubs to decorate State Circle and the Maryland State House with fresh evergreen wreaths. These beautiful decorations bring holiday cheer to residents, workers, and visitors in Historic Annapolis, who can enjoy them throughout the holiday season.
This year’s wreath was created by Project Co-Chairs Trish Demers and Margo Antonelli, along with club members Patty More, Lauren Toomey, and Heather Marken. The wreath featured a variety of evergreens gathered from the yards of our members: boxwood from Angela DeLuca’s landscape, Japanese cedar and arborvitae from Diane Smith, and Nellie holly from Trish Demers. An original bow, designed and crafted by Patty More, completed the wreath’s festive look. On December 6th, Trish had the honor of presenting the completed wreath to Renee Little, Chair of the Naval Academy State Circle, bringing a touch of holiday spirit to this historic landmark.
