At today’s meeting, members gathered for a special Pop-Up Program featuring an interactive question-and-answer session with experienced plant pathologist Jim Mynes. Members were encouraged to bring houseplants that may be struggling or showing signs of disease or distress, creating a great opportunity to receive personalized guidance. Jim offered thoughtful, on-the-spot diagnoses, helping attendees identify signs of disease, pest issues, and environmental stress while recommending practical, easy-to-follow solutions to bring their plants back to health.
Adding to the significance of the day, Jim was also officially installed as a member of the club during the meeting. His willingness to share his expertise and connect with fellow plant enthusiasts made his welcome all the more meaningful. It was a day rooted in learning, community, and a shared passion for plants—one that members won’t soon forget. Comments are closed.
