Crofton Village Garden Club invites you to tour eight private gardens located throughout the Crofton community, each with a themed garden botanical display, either unique, whimsical or classic. Light refreshments will be served at designated gardens, as well as Plein Air artists showcasing their talents. Each garden will have a themed basket that will be raffled at 4 PM – tickets will be available for purchase at each garden. Our club will also focus on promoting a new project for us in 2021-2023, the Anne Arundel County Pollinator Pathway, as well as Crofton Cherry Trees, a project spearheaded by the garden club in 1965.
Crofton Village Garden Club is an active, vibrant and award-winning non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the beauty of our community. Funds received from this tour will support many club projects to protect and improve the Crofton community environment, such as the native and pollinator gardens at Crofton Library, the Blue Star Memorial dedicated to our veterans, planting additional cherry trees around Crofton Parkway, floral arrangements for Hospice of the Chesapeake residents, and garden therapy for local nursing home residents.
Garden tour ticket booklets will be available for pick up on the day of the tour at Will Call, located at Crofton Library, 1681 Riedel Road, Crofton.
