Carlotta Capuano, Crofton Library Associate, led a program for children to develop their sensory skills. The program focused on texture and scent. Children were read a story on how plants grow from seeds with the help of sun and water to fragrant flowers. CVGC provided plants with texture and scents. Each child selected a plant and seeds to place in small clay pots; in addition, moss, river stones and glass beads provided additional texture for their plants.
