Class 4: Tailgating at the Ball Park: Dogs & Brews – What you eat is up to you! Feast in the Sun, Summertime Fun an NGC Small Standard Flower Show sponsored by the Francis Scott Key Chapter Affiliate of the American Iris Society and District II of Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland was held on Saturday, June 22nd at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Severna Park.
Crofton Village Garden Club members Margo Antonelli, Sally Moore, Bonnie Pavlak, Marcia Richard and Claudia West did a creative design eligible for a Club Competition Award and won first place. Photo Credit: Sheila Guevin Crofton Village Garden Club held a Standard Flower Show, County Fair, on Saturday, May 20th at Crofton Library. Our goal was to share our skills and knowledge of floral design, horticulture, and special garden club projects with the community. Several members received awards for their horticulture entries and design exhibits.

JoAnn Cook, Flower Show Horticulture Consultant, and garden club members Rena Pogue and Bonnie Pavlak met at Linthicum Walks to collect boxwood for the CVGC flower show, County Fair, that will take place on Saturday, May 20th at Crofton Library from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.
Congratulations to Paulette Heward, Marcia Richard and Pat Stevenson for their award winning designs and horticulture at the District II Daffodil Show. Paulette (left) was awarded first place for her creative design and Marcia (right) was awarded second place for her creative design. Pat was awarded two first place, two second place, one third place, and two honorable mention ribbons for the beautiful daffodils that she entered in the horticulture division.
