GIVING FLOWERS, GIVING THANKS

6/11/2025

Picture
When the Giving Flowers team arrived at Hospice of the Chesapeake ready to create their weekly floral arrangements, they found their usual workspace closed for renovation — but their spirit of giving didn’t pause for a moment. With several fresh bunches of flowers from Trader Joe’s in hand, the team quickly shifted plans and put their talents to work arranging cheerful bouquets for our club’s Emeritus and Inactive members instead. These surprise floral gifts were a heartfelt reminder that they remain close in our thoughts, even when circumstances change. Several grateful thank-you notes soon arrived from these members, expressing just how much these simple acts of kindness meant to them.
