A traditional or creative swag design was showcased on an easel against a dramatic black background, allowing the design elements to truly shine. Designers Carol McNemar, Karen Frost, and Debbie Nicholson each presented a unique interpretation of the swag design, showcasing their creativity and technical skill. Marcia Richard, Chair of the Design Exhibits and Flower Shows Committee, provided an insightful discussion of each piece, evaluating them through the lens of the Flower Show Handbook. Her commentary highlighted how each design met the principles of floral design, including balance, rhythm, and proportion, while also showcasing personal style and innovation.
