 Glenna Kidd and Harriet Kiilehua Several CVGC members attended the FGCMD Annual Meeting and Standard Flower Show, Planting Maryland from the Mountains to the Ocean, at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City. CVGC President Glenna Kidd was presented the 2017 Evelyn M. Cotton Maryland Conservation Award on behalf of the club for the installation of a native plant border at the Crofton Community Library. Member Harriet Kiilehua was presented the 2017 Presidential Award for her contributions and many tasks performed to create a successful Deck the Halls with Holiday Magic fundraiser. Members Sally Moore, Nancy Percivall and Beverly Frye did the staging for the flower show. Members Glenna Kidd, Bonnie Pavlak and Marcia Richard won blue ribbons for their horticulture entries.
