FLORAL DESIGN – "FILLED WITH LOVE"

CVGC member Paulette Heward, a professional floral designer, generously shared her expertise during a special Valentine’s Day-themed floral design workshop. Paulette began the session with a short lecture on basic design techniques, offering tips on color balance, proportion, and floral selection.

Following the presentation, members rolled up their sleeves and got creative, using their newly acquired skills to craft their own beautiful arrangements. With Paulette’s guidance and encouragement, participants gained confidence and left the workshop with not only a lovely seasonal centerpiece but also a better understanding of floral design principles. The hands-on experience was both educational and festive, adding a delightful touch of love and artistry to the February meeting.
