 Crofton Village Garden Club was approached by the Crofton Kiwanis to enhance a memorial for Pete Pedersen, a WWII veteran who was in charge of the Kiwanis Flag Project. Kiwanis provided the funds and CVGC member Trish Demers and her husband did the planning and work. The memorial is located in the median on Crofton Parkway by Eton Way.
